29 December 2023(Friday): Kanthaloor Day 1

After reaching Udumalapettai, we had tea and yummy vadas and went to the bus stand. I slept on my mom's lap all through the journey. We got down at Marayoor. At first, I thought I lost my suitcase in the bus boot. but fortunately, it was within it. Then we loved the Climate after experiencing Chennai's heat. We went to a hotel. Where the hand wash was situated on a balcony above a height and a stream. It was beautiful. I ate dosa, It was so thick. My mom and dad bought aapam. Later we went on an auto to Kanthaloor. It was going higher. On the way, We visited 'Muniyara, a neolithic stone Cave and also a viewpoint. Sri Ram went to the edge of the cliff to show off. After that, we visited Marayoor Sarkara, a place where jaggery is made. They explained the process. We drank Sugar cane juice and tasted all flavors of jaggery like spiced, ginger, 1st 2nd, and 3rd quality jaggeries. They made jaggery with a very very large pan.

We finally started to our rooms. On the way, I had my heart in my hand Since the roads soaring Up had a very small width. Plus... the fog made us blind for a while, that too at about 11am.

Finally, we reached our rooms. I was very satisfied with the room. It had a hall, a room, a bathroom, and a balcony ♡. I made a call to Aish Akka and Sneha to show the beauty. Sneha said that "It's Looking like a foreign country". Later, I got a bath in a (-) degree ice cold water since, the heater wasn't working. Though I loved it cuz, it made my skin so fresh and pink. I did the dressing and make-up and photographed a bit in the room. The moment we got down, our auto arrived. We first went to a hotel for lunch. We bought chicken biriyani, paarai fish fry and also meals. I loved the fish fry a lot.

Then we went to the farmland, we Saw beautiful flowers and fruits and even a peacock. After that we ate passion fruit, (for the 1st time) and oranges, etc.

Our next destination was Bhramaram viewpoint, The place was completely filled with fog, I could barely see a thing. There was a tree house, it was tall and unsteady. The ladder to climb it had a high entropy. I held my heart in my hand and got down which Scarier. Then we  agn made a call to Aish akka and sneha. We ate pazhampori for the first time.
Then, on the way back to the room, we saw honey rock from about a very long distance as it can't be viewed closer. It was full of बड़ा बड़ा honeycombs. Like the one in Jungle Book.

We reached the room, and we explored our surroundings. That's when 3 strangers approached us to invite us to their dwellings, in-progress-rooms, and garden. They were so kind. They also gifted us a handful of oranges and guavas. Those are the best guavas, I've ever had. Then we spent some time in the park, swinging, till the campfire started. Though we didn't dance, It was good to see others dance. But at last, Sriram danced to the "Naa ready" Song. Then we had our dinner (chapatis, parathas, chicken Manchurian and Chilli paneer. That's it... we slept.

30 December 2023(Saturday): Kanthaloor Day 2

The heater was working today. So, I took a quick bath and went down for a coffee Bar Then we went to the organic farm of the strangers we met yesterday. They showed us their mud house, tree house a large variety of plants, greens, and fruits. They gave us raw coffee fruit, bumblimas, guava, passion fruit, oranges, and red-colored leaves for a curry. Then we saw their cute hamster and a talking parrot.

Then we left to have breakfast (idli, sambar, puttu, kadala Curry, watermelon). Then we set off to Irachilpara waterfalls. I didn't get into but Dad and Shiro got in adventurously.

On the way, we saw a Sandalwood forest, about 20 deer were grazing peacefully.
After this, we made our way to Munnar for Lakkam Jalls. My haters (monkeys) were filled up there though I went and I didn't regret it. The water was ice cold. The ground was full of pebbles, and I collected 2 of them. I reached to a clear pebble-filled spot and sat on a large rock, relaxing my hard-working feet in the ice-cream-cold water. Since I was still for a while, I got to owe a free fish Spa. I was very cautious about not shaking my legs. Then my mom came, we played Who's gonna hold breadth for the long game?' and left the place. There was a restaurant outside. There we ate bread omelet, ponni meals, Maggi, and cake pieces.

We left, and on the way, we enjoyed the view of the tea plantations and reached the zip line. We didn't go for it but we visited the shop nearby and bought a herbal oil and a marshmallow.

Then, we went to the misty range. park, where we bought chocolates and milkshakes. Sri Ram bought tickets to visit the park nearby. Meanwhile, I was Posing near the tree house in the Misty Range resort.

On the way we visited Karimutti waterfalls, though we couldn't take a bath there we visited a tortoise-themed shop. We also visited a shop nearby to buy pazhampori, bajji, and tea.

While going to the room back, we bought wild amlas. When we reached the resort, our rooms were changed to "A-frame cabin", which was a triangle-shaped duplex room. But I liked the first one more. I did some dance in the room. Then, I left for the campfire. This time, there were none to dance So, me and Sri Ram danced. Then we went for our dinner (BBQ chicken, paneer butter masala, paratha, kurma, chapati).

We spent some time outside and returned back to the room and slept.

31 December 2023(Sunday): Kanthaloor Day 3 (New Year's Eve)

I woke up and took a lot of pictures, meanwhile, Dad and Shiro went to bid farewell to the strangers. Then I took a bath and again took a lot of pics there and went for breakfast and met my new friends whom I met last night at the Campfire. They live in Ernakulam. With a heavy heart, we checked out. We explored the adjacent streets while waiting for the auto. Then we went as follows. → Marayoor bus stand. We missed a bus and waited for 2 hours. We bought extra jaggery for our friends and family, wild ginger, and last but not least banana chips. We got the bus and went to Udumalapettai. There, we went to Hap Daily and ate ice cream. we also bought sweet Chips and pavaka chips. For dinner, my dad bought kothu parota. Our train got in. VIT Chennai: My Kick-Start Day

25th July Having my bag packed up a day earlier I placed the dress I have to wear on a table beside my bed and went to sleep with thousands of expectations and a bit of nervousness. When I went curious into my dream, my mom woke me up. I got freshed up and got ready. Me and my dad rushed to the bus stop that I didn't even take my day 1 picture. I got my bus and I'm literally not a big fan of bus travels. So I tried my best to be distracted and to sleep.  I was also sure that I have to capture the moment I was going to enter into the college. I dunno why I got emotional the day 1 I was entering into the campus. I felt like VIT is person and it's welcoming me. I tried my best to keep my tears to my eyes. I was directed to an auditorium called MG auditorium. I was early there and the first two persons I met the were Anvitha and Kamia with whom I spent the rest of the day. It was it induction day which actually refers to orientation day, just VIT or physics terms. W...
