Photo by picjumbo.com The moment we take our phone out, our parents typically say that it'll ruin our eyes and mental health. I'm not here to say it's not true but I just wanna let you know if there other perils of using the phone. I'm gonna ask you a question before I talk about each victim. Before reading the answer, think about the question, think about how long and how deep you are doing them for a minute.  Let's come from top to bottom... 1. Are you a person who spends thousands on hair care products?   Photo by Tima Miroshnichenko I'm so sorry to say that all that money is just getting wasted unless you limit your phone usage. We know that when we use phones for a long period, it'll get heated up due to the radiation which will affect our hair directly causing hair fall. The radiation is also said to damage the brain cells. 2. Are you a person who'll leave Bluetooth earphones for a long period?   Photo by Jonas Mohamadi While using Bluetooth, the

VIT Chennai: My Kick-Start Day

25th July Having my bag packed up a day earlier I placed the dress I have to wear on a table beside my bed and went to sleep with thousands of expectations and a bit of nervousness. When I went curious into my dream, my mom woke me up. I got freshed up and got ready. Me and my dad rushed to the bus stop that I didn't even take my day 1 picture. I got my bus and I'm literally not a big fan of bus travels. So I tried my best to be distracted and to sleep.  I was also sure that I have to capture the moment I was going to enter into the college. I dunno why I got emotional the day 1 I was entering into the campus. I felt like VIT is person and it's welcoming me. I tried my best to keep my tears to my eyes. I was directed to an auditorium called MG auditorium. I was early there and the first two persons I met the were Anvitha and Kamia with whom I spent the rest of the day. It was it induction day which actually refers to orientation day, just VIT or physics terms. W

The narrative is filled with themes of survival, friendship, and curiosity, making it a compelling read for anyone who enjoys adventurous tales.  I liked "Life of Pi" a lot. The story revolves around a boy who survives a shipwreck at a very young age, and I found myself relating to him in many ways. His versatile skills and adaptable nature resonated with me, as I see similarities in my own diverse interests and professions. One aspect that stood out to me was the boy's curiosity about the Bharatanatyam dance and his understanding of its poses. This added a unique cultural layer to the story that I found fascinating. The evolving friendship between the boy and the tiger, Richard Parker, was another highlight, showcasing an extraordinary bond formed under extreme circumstances. The boy's ability to memorize the pi numbers was impressive

Deep Work" by Colin Court offers insightful strategies for achieving social success in a world full of distractions. The book is divided into two parts: the first part presents the idea behind deep work, while the second part outlines practical rules to implement it. Although the initial chapters might seem dense with examples and theoretical concepts, the latter part is rich with actionable advice that can transform your productivity. I was really impressed by "Deep Work." One of my favorite quotes from the book resonated deeply with me: "It doesn't matter whether you wake up early or sleep early. It doesn't matter whether you wake up late or sleep late. What matters is the amount of concentration and focus you put into your work while you're doing it." This concept was a revelation for me, as I often felt depressed when I couldn't wake up early. The book emphasizes that the quality of work, not the quantity, is what truly matters. "Deep
